XLLENT SHOES ARE XTRA HOT

After participating in New York Fashion Week with Heatherette designer Richie Rich for his namesake collection, well-known freelance shoe designer Lawrence “XL” Gay has launched his own range of stunning designer-styled shoes called XLLENT SHOES.

The new XLLENT SHOES shoe collection comprises of seven soon-to-be popular styles. This includes mid-calf boots, zippered pumps and laced-up designs in rich, exotic leathers in fall-friendly hues. Heels are an elegant height without being uncomfortably high and the shoes have a luxury padded sole for extra comfort. 
 

The seven irresistibly, captivating styles that make up this new line is exclusively designed for the fashion-forward. Unique details such patent leather trims, zippers in unexpected places, laces in print straps along with leather uppers in striking exotic skins will enhance any ensemble for fashionistas. Its fall debut is sure to leave a mark on the fashion scene.  “I wanted to create a collection for women who love shoes and wanted something “fancier” yet wearable.  These are sure to be head turners and should illicit “oohs and ahhs” from friends and fashionistas alike.  I had a lot of fun creating them.” 
 

Add to the fact that the styles are environmentally friendly too. I decided to come up with something clever that will help us do our portion to save the planet. I thought to myself ‘how can we go green yet still keep it sexy?’ said Lawrence. “I thought about Christian Louboutin who is known for creating red leather outsoles and making that his signature. We use recycled leather to make our outsoles so that is “green.” Then I decided to have them painted green as a reminder of this. This lets our customer know that we as well as she are doing our part to help save the planet. We even took it a step further by having the eco-friendly logo embossed in the outsole so that everyone knows this whether they buy a pair or not.”   

With 10 years experience in the shoe market, Lawrence“XL” Gay recently launched the debut of his XLLENT SHOES line and continues to design a wide range of shoe styles for clients which have included Nine West, Steve Madden, Foremost Footwear and BCNY, Intl.
