Helping Haiti: What You Can Do Right Now!

For those interesting in helping immediately:

Call (800) REDCROSS or go online to redcross.org. Text “HAITI” to “90999″ and a donation of $10 will be automatically charged to your cell phone bill to help the Red Cross with relief efforts. The Red Cross has already released $200,000 in disaster funds but could always use donations.

You can donate as little as $10 through UNICEF by going to unicefusa.org/haitiquake or calling (800)4UNICEF.

Wyclef Jean is urging everyone to donate money by texting the word “Yele” to 501501 to make a $5 donation over the phone. You can get up-to-the-minute updates from Wyclef through his Twitter page @wyclef.
